Tips on How to Achieve a High-end Flower Look
without a High-end Price

As suggested by Sweet Peas Floral

Whenever possible, do tables of ten rather than eight. It saves money because you need fewer centerpieces.

Focus specialty flowers in bouquets since they will be the most photographed, and then use less expensive flowers in the same color scheme for the other arrangements.

Colored or patterned linens can make a spectacular statement of color and personality for a small percentage of what it would cost to achieve with flowers.

Using fewer varieties of flowers en mass can make it easier to achieve volume and size using a monochromatic color scheme.

During the flower holidays of Valentines Day and Mother's Day, it is widely know that flowers are more expensive, but they are also when the markets/growers have limited availability: Memorial weekend, Labor Day weekend, the week between Christmas and New Years, and Thanksgiving. Try to avoid scheduling your wedding near any major holiday to save on flower costs.

When Looking for Tuxedos,
There Are a Few Questions You Should Ask

As suggested by the Formal Connection

Do they have their own tuxedos in stock or would they be ordering them from a catalog?

At Formal Connection all of our tuxedos are available in stock so you will be able to try it on and know exactly how it will look on you. Some tuxedos look good in a catalog but may not look good on, so it’s always best to try on your tuxedo before ordering it.

Do they specialize in tuxedo rentals or are just offering them as an add-on service?

We’ve been specializing in tuxedo rentals for 22 years, offering the finest selection of men’s formal wear in San Joaquin County.

If the fit isn’t right do they do adjustments? And if they do, are they on site?

All of our adjustments are done in-house, ensuring a perfect fit. We are the only tuxedo shop that offers this level of service.

Photographer Tips

As suggested by Briggs Photography

One of the wedding day traditions has been transforming over the years is the “First Glance". This is where the couples are choosing to meet about 1 ½ hours before the wedding ceremony for the Bride & Groom photo session and the wedding party photo session. Typically, the most creative images I create happen during this photo session. This session can also be shared with close friends and family thus giving stunning and intimate captures for the wedding collection.

Videographer Tips

As suggested by Oyler Video Productions

Give the videographers a time line of the day. Usually the same one the coordinator has or your DJ has. We need this to keep on top of the events.

Don't be shy. You will be the stars of the day so enjoy it. It's OK to play the video camera. Remember video is "moving pictures" .

If you have a limo taking you and your bridal party from the ceremony venue to the reception venue, invite the videographer along if there is room. Some really wild things can happen on the way that makes great memories.
