Jenny Klooster (Owner of San Francisco Florist) and Nicole Guindon (Owner of Wish Wedding and Event Planning) came together to create Stockton's first Wedding Professional Association. They realized there was no "association" strictly up of businesses that do a majority of there business with Brides and Grooms. So, with a little hard work and determination, they started a little group in April 2007. It has since grown to 35+ members strong and holds high standards of all participating vendors, each member is researched, and must pass certain prerequisite in order to join..
WHY SHOULD I WORK WITH SAWP MEMBERS?
We are a group full of hardworking, dedicated professionals who are all held to the highest standards within the association. We like to refer to our members as "the best of the best" in Stockton! We all work close together to make your event as perfect as it can be! As a group we can each give
referrals to other business that we know provide excellent service, as many of our members work with
each other on a regular basis!
IS THIS JUST ANOTHER "PAY TO BE A MEMBER" GROUPS?
Not at all! We make each perspective member provide a list of items that proves good business ethic, as well as professional and customer referrals, length of business operation and then has to be personally voted on by all our members. We also only hold a couple spots for each business type (i.e. Photography, Bakery, Florist etc) We do not just take any business who is willing to write a check!
